MysticLA Magazine was an earlier venture into publication design where I focused a lot on layout, typography and imagery.  I came up with the idea for the magazine because it is clear living in Los Angeles that modern mysticism is incredibly popular and I figured a publication featuring that topic would be new and fun.  I did not write these articles but all of the formatting and design is my work. I started from the research phase and once I found relevant content I moved forward with the design. The goal here was to come up with a magazine that I know would fill a niche role in terms of topic that was also incredibly visually stimulating and I fully believe I achieved that.
